
Texas-area wide receiver Jalen Ramsey is one of the country’s top prospects for the 2018 class of wide receivers, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
Ramsey committed to Florida on Tuesday, according a source close to the recruit.
The commitment is the second of Ramsey’s to come in less than a week.
His other offer came from Louisiana Tech on Monday, the source said.
The 5-foot-10, 205-pound Ramsey is rated as a three-star prospect by 247Sports.
He is a four-star recruit and committed to Auburn on Tuesday.
Ramseys high school coach and former Alabama star Mark Mullins visited Florida last weekend and was impressed with the Gators coaching staff.
Ramsey is a former four-time all-district pick and a four time All-American at Alabama.
Ramys father, Aaron Ramsey, was a four year starter at the University of Florida and helped lead the Gators to a national title in 2010.
